Bulk convert images on Windows, offline

Windows can open most image formats but has no built-in batch converter. ConvertX for Windows takes a folder of JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF or GIF files, converts them all to the format you pick, and never sends anything anywhere.

What's supported on Windows

Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, GIF. Output: WebP, JPG, PNG, AVIF, BMP, TIFF. HEIC is not supported on desktop today (the Android app handles it). Name collisions are handled safely: a second a.webp becomes a (1).webp and the first is untouched.

Keyboard shortcuts

  • Ctrl+O: pick files.
  • Ctrl+Enter: start the batch.
  • Esc: close the results dialog.

No ads on desktop

The Windows, macOS and Linux builds have no ads and use no network at all.
